Advanced Behavioral is dedicated to enhancing learning opportunities to prepare interns for the mental health field. Our ultimate goal is to provide a comprehensive clinical experience to help support families and communities one person at a time. Through individual supervision, mentoring and coaching, ABH will build confidence and skills needed to be successful in the field. ABH internship also includes a community project.

Our Program
1Comprehensive onboarding through ABH academy and placement in preferred locations (Baltimore County, Carroll County, Frederick County, Montgomery County, PG County, Washington County). Onboarding and benefits based on internship type.
2Each intern will have an assigned supervisor with a small caseload. Learning opportunities will include CEU trainings, shadowing, meeting clients, learning how to diagnose, and completing treatment planning that meet COMAR and CARF standards.
3Benefits for master level clinical placement include a small stipend for all face to face/telehealth sessions. Mileage reimbursement is for all types of internships.

Throughout the years of experience with our Internship Program we have found that our most valuable employees have all been interns with ABH. It is our goal to not only provide our Interns with the best possible experience while attending our program, but to also provide them with the security of knowing that completing their internship almost guarantees them employment with ABH upon graduation.
We have designed a paid internship program which allows our interns to continue to work for us until they gain their licensure and get paid an hourly wage for doing so.
